TECHNICAL RIDER.

What we need from you, in order to do what we do, the best we can do it !

1) The Stage Manager, or a technician familiar with the electrical and sound patches and lighting and fly systems must be on hand for the pre-set load-in time. LAZER VAUDEVILLE needs to do the load-in 6 hours before the show time.

2) We need four to five STRONG adults for the load-in/set-up and the tear-down/pack-out crew. We also need three operators for during the show: one on your light board, and two on stage. All three operators must wear black from head to toe. These MUST be the same operators for each show if we are doing multiple shows. These MUST be the same persons for set-up/during the show/and pack-out.

3) The location and the operation of the theatre's ventilation and fire and smoke alarms must be known to the stage manager PRIOR to the day of show.

4) A complete blackout must be available for the show and for the pre-show technical checks. If there are windows, they must be covered in black plastic.

5) If the show is to start on time, the stage, wings, and load-in area must be entirely clear of all other props, sets, and other obstructions BEFORE the pre-set load-in time.

6) The stage and off-stage area must be swept and mopped with-in 24 hours before the performance, and our load-in. A broom, mop, and dustpan must be available on stage left from the time we arrive until the time we leave.

7) Bottled water, V8, Iced Tea, and Pepsi should be available for the performers at all times. A tray of fresh vegetables with dip & cheese/crackers will keep the performers smiling and happy. If it is a morning show then bagels, cream cheese & muffins should be in place of veggies. If you can get Starbucks (or some other high-test stuff) then a half-pound of whole-bean coffee and cream and sugar upon our arrival, we'll bring the grinder and coffee maker. We request that these refreshments are made available to the performers from the beginning of our load-in until the very last piece of equipment has been packed back into our truck.

8) LAZER VAUDEVILLE will retain 100% of all non-food concession income sold by LAZER VAUDEVILLE before and after the show and during intermission. LAZER VAUDEVILLE will sell no food or drink items. The sponsor or theatre must have LAZER VAUDEVILLE'S written consent to sell any non-food items at or in conjunction with a LAZER VAUDEVILLE
PERFORMANCE.

9) The theatre must provide ushers to keep the theatre doors closed during the first ten minutes of the first half, and that the patrons exit through the lobby and not through such side exits, except for emergency situations.

10) If theatre has a black drape it must be hung and available for our use before our arrival. Please see stage-plot for hanging and color of lights, specials, cyclorama, etc.

11) Backstage tours are not allowed while Lazer Vaudeville's equipment is in the building.

12) Hotel preferences -- We don't like fancy downtown hotels that are usually in a high crime district. We like Holiday inns in the suburbs. MOST IMPORTANT is that our rooms be on the first floor, IF THE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE PARKING FOR A 24 FOOT LONG TRUCK THAT IS 12 FEET TALL THEN WE CANNOT STAY THERE. WE ALSO TRAVEL WITH A 40-FOOT LONG TOUR BUS THAT NEEDS PARKING BOTH AT THE HOTEL AND AT YOUR THEATRE.

13) Thanks to the number of friends, relatives, and associates we have all over the country we reserve 10 complimentary tickets to each performance.

14) Any time the name LAZER VAUDEVILLE is used in print by your organization the logo of the show will be used. A high quality "slick" that is camera ready will be provided to you for this. Any alteration to the title of the show must have the written consent of LAZER VAUDEVILLE. Logos are also available on our web site www.lazervaudeville.com in a variety of graphic formats.

15) LAZER VAUDEVILLE reserves the right to add a page to any program distributed to your patrons at a LAZER VAUDEVILLE performance, thanking our corporate sponsors. LAZER VAUDEVILLE also reserves the right to videotape any performance, load-in, or load-out.

16) WE TRAVEL WITH A 24-FOOT LONG TRUCK THAT IS 12 FEET TALL AND A 40 FOOT LONG TOUR BUS THAT NEEDS PARKING AT YOUR THEATRE.

WE REALIZE THAT DUE TO THE WIDE RANGE OF THEATRES WE PLAY, SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE DIFFICULTIES MEETING SOME OF THE ITEMS IN THIS RIDER. HOWEVER WE DO CARRY OUR OWN BLACK CURTAINS, LIGHTS, SOUND SYSTEM, ETC. SO THAT ANY VENUE IS ABLE TO PRESENT THE SHOW AS LONG AS THE FACILITY CAN BE MADE DARK. BUT IF ALL OF THE ITEMS CAN BE MET IT WILL GREATLY REDUCE THE SET-UP TIME AND MAKE THE TECHNICAL END OF THE PRODUCTION EASIER FOR ALL INVOLVED!!! IF ANY OF THE ITEMS CANNOT BE MET PLEASE LET US KNOW. THANKS SO MUCH! IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL US.
